In Ledgerhold, a modern city where humans, elves, orcs, and dragons coexist, all magic runs on a monopolized banking system where unpaid debts are collected in treasures, memories, lifespans, or souls. Aiden, a cold and meticulous Special Debt Recovery Chief at the Ancient Bank, secretly works himself to exhaustion to keep his soul-frozen sister alive in the bank's vault. Morgana, a fallen elven princess turned modern-day Robin Hood, leads a gang that hacks stolen mana to save the slums. When a rigged sabotage forces them into an uneasy alliance, they uncover a conspiracy that threatens everything they love. As they fight side by side, hostility turns into trust, and trust into a bond neither can deny. But an ultimatum from Morgana's estranged elven family and a Bank closing in on Aiden's betrayal threaten to tear them apart before they can build something real. Together they must risk everything to expose the truth, dismantle a corrupt financial empire, and prove that love cannot be repossessed.
