Moon Sequence
In the coastal city of Valmere, where glass towers mirror a silver bay and light installations pass for dreams, Elara Voss — a young lighting designer who vanished from the art world after a stage accident — is hired to resurrect The Moonwell, an abandoned glass hotel perched on a cliff. Her employer is Adrien Solace: cold, controlled, and never photographed. He wants the hotel restored before it is demolished. What he does not tell her is that his sister disappeared inside its walls ten years ago, during a light show not unlike the one Elara is being asked to create. As Elara installs mirrors, reflective glass, and low-frequency sound across the hotel, strange images begin to surface — shadows beneath water, an unfinished melody, words etched in light: don't trust the moon. Between the radiant city and the cold nights at sea, Elara and Adrien uncover that The Moonwell was never haunted. It has been holding a truth staged too perfectly to question. To find it, they will have to stop controlling what the light reveals — and let themselves be seen in the dark.
